A very ingenious combined day/date alarm clock and weather station
which forecasts the local weather over a 12 hour period.
A moving weather forecast display shows sun, clouds and rain with
varying degrees of intensity.

The
unit comprises an outdoor sensor which communicates its readings
by wireless transmission to the indoor alarm clock/weather station.
The outdoor sensor has an LCD display which shows outdoor temperature,
and the indoor alarm clock/weather station has a large LCD display
showing outdoor and indoor temperatures, humidity and air pressure
(with a graphic display showing pressure change over the previous
12 hours). Maximum and minimum temperature readings are remembered
by the unit and temperatures can be shown in Centigrade or Fahrenheit.
The alarm clock has a Snooze function and the display shows time,
day, date, month and phases of the moon. A switch on top of
the unit activates a display backlight which remains on for a few
seconds after it is pressed.
The alarm clock/weather station has a fold out stand and a keyhole
is provided in the back for optional wall mounting. The clock measures
approximately 11.5cm wide x 11.2cm high x 3.5cm deep (4.5"
x 4.4" x 1.4") or 8.5cm (3.3") when supported by
its stand and is powered from 2 x AA batteries

external sensor measures approximately 10.4cm x 6.4cm x 2.5cm (4.1"
